IsElement()

To test if a name is already in the list, use IsElement.

If IsElement(userlist("Jane Smith")) = True Then
MsgBox "Jane Smith is in list"
End If

If you look at the code I posted at the following link, I am sure you can figure out how to adapt that for your code, I am doing something similar:

I have blogged about lists several times:
http://www.bleedyellow.com/blogs/texasswede/entry/usinglistsforcounters

http://www.bleedyellow.com/blogs/texasswede/entry/listlookupperformance

http://www.bleedyellow.com/blogs/texasswede/entry/more_fun_with_lists2

I also wrote an article in The View back in 2006 about using lists:
http://www.eview.com/eview/VOLR6.nsf/0/6DE5BF16ACEFD4778525723A006FA2C1

Lists are very powerful, but not widely used. Learn to use tham and become much more productive!
